The Parish Council has successfully secured a grant for a defibrillator for village use. The £750 grant depended on raising an equal amount, which the Marquis of Granby has generously donated from the proceeds of their charity matches with Alkham Cricket Club and charity auctions.

It has now been set up on the front of the Village Hall and registered on the national Circuit database.

To use it, simply dial 999 and follow the given instructions. No experience is required, but for more information, there will be an update on the Parish Council website and Alkham Village Residents FB page.
